Reflecting on an Unforgettable LeadHERship Event

Last week, we hosted the LeadHERship 2024 event, a day where the corridors of AMACON Lead®️ echoed with the steps of aspiring leaders and the air buzzed with the electricity of empowerment. It was more than just an event; it was a symphony of voices, a tapestry of stories, and a beacon of inspiration for women who lead, and those who aspire to.

"As the organizer, I was momentarily speechless – overwhelmed by the groundswell of positive feedback and the tangible energy that we all created together." -Philipa Biritwum

From the rousing keynote on global leadership to the invigorating panel discussions, every moment was a note in the melody of progress. The shared journeys of breaking barriers and tales of unwavering resilience as well as taboo topics painted a picture of a world where leadership knows no gender, only merit and vision.

To the incredible women who filled the room: your engagement and enthusiasm were the heartbeat of the day. Your willingness to participate, to question, to network, and to support one another created an ambiance of genuine community.

As the organizer, I was momentarily speechless – overwhelmed by the groundswell of positive feedback and the tangible energy that we all created together. It was an affirmation of our mission at AMACON Lead: to foster environments where women can grow, succeed, and lead with confidence.

🧡 A heartfelt thank you to every speaker, panelist, and participant who brought their spirit and wisdom to this event. You have left an indelible mark on the canvas of our community.

A few words from Supriya Vij

Just when you think you've cracked the code on diversity and inclusion in your company... 😅

Last week, it was a surreal evening at Igluu during the #LeadHERship event, a moment of reflection for me as I responded to a question about my company V-Teach's diversity strategies. While we boast cultural diversity with team members hailing from the USA, Middle East, Europe, and Asia, there was still a missing piece of the diversity puzzle. With a team predominantly comprising women (big shoutout to my awesome 16 female team members!), it's clear we've got some work to do on the gender diversity front – one hire at a time! I'm thrilled to share that we've recently welcomed three new male team members, a step forward in our journey towards a more balanced and inclusive workforce 😊

Surrounded by an exceptional pool of talented and driven women from various fields and attendees from The Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, the event was an incredible opportunity to dive deep into discussions about leadership, diversity, and empowerment. Topics ranged from breaking barriers and global leadership, from taboo topics in the workplace to embracing #selfcare led by Inga Dalpas Madej Rosey Valentine, from panel discussions to a soulful live performance by Anke Scheer, whose beautiful voice captivated everyone in the room and added a special touch to the evening's proceedings.

Heartfelt thanks to Philipa O.W. Biritwum and the team for organizing such an insightful and inspiring evening!

A special nod to the co-speakers – Miriam FrosiWioletta MedalionBeata Wandachowicz-KrasonVeroniek Vermeulen (Silatha)Philipa O.W. Biritwum – all the incredible women who graced the stage with their wisdom and insights.

As International Women’s Month draws to a close, let's recommit to championing diversity and inclusion in every facet of our lives. Here's to honoring women's achievements not just today but every day!
